Skirts

So my friend, Jocey and I decided to make these skirts for our girls. We have been working on them for a few days and we finally finished them yesterday. I was worried that they would look really homeade looking, but I actually think that they turned out pretty cute, so I thought I would show them off. I haven't made anything from a pattern for a very, very long time, and it was acutally quite fun. What I really enjoyed was making these shirts to match. We just bought the white shirts for $5 at Old Navy and then used wonder-under and just ironed on these flowers. They literally took less than 5 minutes to make. It makes me want to make a bunch more for the summer.

Ali you did such a gret job! I love how they turned out. I made Addy a skirt a while ago for the first time. Mine did not turn out half as cute as yours did. :) I have the same fabric line in green. Im making a blanket out of it.

My doc did tell me, "I wont lie, it can happen again." and I've been so scared since it happened that it will happen again! Do they think u did too much between the first time and the second? Ahhhh I want to get out and do a lot, but am too scared!

that's awesome Ali! Remember when we all sewed our own superhero costumes for the Howl and mine fell apart? Disaster. But I am better now! And that is a way cute pattern. You and Jocey are so good. Nice idea.

I taught myself how to make jewelry. I have been making it for several years now. I order my watch faces online and I have a huge collection of beads from the "Bead Show". It comes like 3 times a year down at the southtowne expo center. I think the next one is in June. I really just get the rest from all the different craft stores. Roberts has the seperation bars and a really good assortment of beads. I get a lot of stuff from Michaels also. Let me know if you need anymore help. I can email you a how to if you want. :)
