Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!! I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween of dressing up and eating LOTS of candy. We sure did. We had a great month of activities consisting of lots of dressing up, parties, witches night out! (Which I love), eating lots, and lots, and lots, of candy, making cookies, etc. Here are a couple of pictures of the girls on Halloween.

Here is Tess and Taylor over at Grandma's showing off their costumes.

Haley so excited that she has a WHOLE bag of candy!!
Haley and Taylor right before they went Trick-or-Treating
And one of all the girls. Aren't they so cute!! Hello Kitty, Black cat, and a Witch
I didn't do a very good job of getting one of them standing up, actually showing their costumes. I will have to try better next year!

Updating...Finally!

Okay, okay, I know it has been FOREVER since I have updated my blog. I really have been meaning too, but just haven't. So today I finally got the desire to update it with somethings that we have been up too and realized that I let my sister-in-law borrow my camera and so I don't have it to load my pictures. So I will have to post some pictures when I get it back. But I thought that I could at least tell you, well those of you that don't know yet...that we are expecting another baby!! Yep you read that right. Baby number 3, and yes I will have 3 kids under the age of 3. This baby was a bit of a surprise, well a HUGE surprise, but we are excited. I am due at the end of January and we are having a girl. So that is the news. Hope everyone is doing well and getting excited for this fall weather coming up. I will post again soon, I promise.

Haley turned 1

So Haley turned on year old on Tuesday. I can't believe my baby is one already. That year really went way too fast. We had a family party on Monday night. We had dinner, opened presents had yummy dessert, and watched Haley devour her cake. She loved it. Here are some pictures of her party:

This is the table, look at the cute pictures that my friend Jessica took of her. They so cute!! I love them.

This is her cake!! My sister-in-law, Brandi helped me make this cake for Haley, I think it turned out so cute.
Haley got a slide for her Birthday, she absolutely loves it. It was a hit amongst all the kids.

Here is Haley eating her cake. We finally had to take it away from her. I think she could have eaten the whole thing!!

Such a fun party, thanks to everyone who came and for the lovely presents. We love you Haley so much and so glad that you are apart of our family. Happy Birthday!!

Skirts

So my friend, Jocey and I decided to make these skirts for our girls. We have been working on them for a few days and we finally finished them yesterday. I was worried that they would look really homeade looking, but I actually think that they turned out pretty cute, so I thought I would show them off. I haven't made anything from a pattern for a very, very long time, and it was acutally quite fun. What I really enjoyed was making these shirts to match. We just bought the white shirts for $5 at Old Navy and then used wonder-under and just ironed on these flowers. They literally took less than 5 minutes to make. It makes me want to make a bunch more for the summer.

CRAZY Hair!!

The other day I got Haley out of her crib when she first woke up and the first thing I thought of was, Donald Trump. It was the craziest bed head I have ever seen. So then I put her in her high chair and gave her some bananas and then she rubbed her hands through her hair. So this is the result. Maybe she should be Donald Trump for Halloween.

Daily Life

Taylor trying to go on the "Potty." We have been potty training for the past week or so, well this is the fourth "Round." I am determined to do it this time. This is her second potty chart. It is helping a lot. I think she is finally getting the concept of the whole thing. She is actually doing pretty good. It is just so frustrating when she has an accident. I just have to keep telling myself that it takes time. I have always had a fear of potty training a child, and it is a little harder than I thought, but I know that she will get it soon. So any advice out there of you wise mothers that have been through this, I will gladly take it.

I have always loved those pictures of children who fall asleep in places other than their beds. I don't think that my kids have really done it that much because they both are the type that have to fall asleep in their cribs, but today we were eating lunch and Taylor says, "mommy, Haley is asleep." And she started laughing. It was so funny. So I just had to take a picture of it. I guess she was just so tired.
