So this afternoon I was blog surfing and ended up on someones blog that I don't even know. Shocker!! I don't even know why I do this. It is like my friend Tara said on her blog, "It is like people watching." That just makes a lot of sense. Anyway, on this girls blog she took a test to see which color she was, which best represents her personality. I thought it was kind of interesting. So I took it. I don't know if my results are totally true, but here is what they said:
(If you want to take the test the link is below, take it and let me know what color you are.)
You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!
What are you?

Money, Money, Money
Kevin and I have a big cookie jar in our closet that we keep all of our change in. We have been saving our change in it since we have been married, hoping someday we can do something fun with it. Anyway, Taylor found that jar of money when she was like 10 months old or something. She would love to carry it around and I would find money all over the house. I finally got tired of picking up change all over my house, so we hid the money jar behind Kevin's suits. So the other day she found it. :) For the past two days she has been getting a few out and playing with it. Today I taught her to put it in her purse and carry it around, at least that way it wouldn't be all over my house. So tonight she disappeared for a while. When she came out she was holding her purse completely full of money and said, "SHOPPING." It was pretty funny. It is so heavy for her she can barely carry it and walk. So I thought I would share a few pictures of her holding her purse and her purse full of money.

Getting Ready
Friday night I went out with my friends who live in our neighborhood to have a "Girls night out." When I was getting ready to go out, Taylor wanted to get ready too. She found one of my white shirts and put the arm hole over her head. Then she wanted some jewelry to put on as well. Once I was dressed and started to comb through my hair she wanted to as well. She was cracking me up. It is so funny how she already wants to do exactly what I am doing.
We had so much fun. We went to Orem and ate at California Pizza Kitchen and then went shopping. We had a great time together. It is always so nice to get out and enjoy some girl time (without kids). Love ya girls! Thanks Kevin for watching Taylor and Tyler. You are the best!

Miles Blessing
Saturday Evening Miles recieved his baby blessing. What a neat experience it was to be there. The spirit was so strong. He is such a sweet baby and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. He has taught us so much already. We just love him. He is doing really well. Eric and Brandi are the best parents. We love you Miles. Here are a few pictures from his blessing. Enjoy!
Family Date Night
Friday night we decided to go out. We went up to Fat Cats in Salt Lake. We ate at the Pizza Factory and then went bowling. We didn't really know how Taylor was going to like it, but once we showed her what to do she had so much fun. She wanted to help on every turn. She tried many times to pick up the ball all by herself. Then she would help us push the ball down the lane. Kevin went and found one of those metal things that you push the ball on, then she could do it all by herself. She would then run back to us clapping before she even saw any pins go down. We had a lot of fun. I forgot how much fun bowling is. I just have to say - I am much better at bowling on the Wii than bowling in real life. After our game was over we played a few arcades. Our favorite one was Deal or No Deal. You play it exactly the same way, but you win tickets instead of money. So we let Taylor pick each brief case by pushing the buttons with numbers on it. She did so good. You have the chance to win up to 200 tickets. We played until we had two brief cases left and the numbers that were left were either 8 tickets or 200 tickets, and the banker offered us 104 tickets, so we took the deal. Taylor must be a natural at Deal or No Deal. We came away with a wand for Taylor, a whoopee cushion, and two air heads. We had a great time.
Play Time
Here is Taylor sitting in your favorite chair, reading her favorite book. My cousin Kindra and I made our kids their own ABC book for Christmas. It is pictures of Taylor - each pictures has to do with a letter of the alphabet. She absolutley loves it. It is always the first book that she gets when she wants to read books. Thanks Kindra for the great idea and helping me do it.
My mom bought Taylor this very cute ladybug tent for Christmas. We put it up on Friday. At first she didn't really get it, but when I went in there with her she didn't want to get out. We probably played in it for a couple of hours. She loves it.

It's Official
Today I went to the doctor for my usual four week check-up. The doctor did another ultra-sound to find out what we are having. They were right the first time, we are having a girl. We are pretty excited!! The doctor said that she is still in a breach position, but not to worry, she still has plenty of time to flip around. So that is our latest news.
I just have to apologize for not up-dating my blog for a long time. We haven't really been doing anything. I will try to do better this next week and take some pictures.

Happy New Year, 2008
Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you all had a great New Year. We had so much fun. We planned a party with some of our neighbors. We went over to our neighbors house, Cameron and Amy Stewart. We had a lot of yummy food. We just kept eating and eating. We played a game called Apples to Apples, I think that is what it is called. That was fun. I had never played it before. Then we ate some more and put the kids to bed. Cameron put together some questions for the Newlywed game. It was so much fun. So the girls went in one room and answered some questions about their marriage or their husbands and the guys did the same. Then we all came back to the same room and our spouses had to guess what we guessed and we had to guess their answers. I am sure you all know how to play. Anyway, I don't think that all of us have laughed that hard in a long time. I was laughing so hard that I was crying and all my upper body muscles hurt. It was so much fun. Kevin and I got a little more than half right, so we didn't do too bad. I would recommend this game to anyone. It is a great way to see if you and your husband know a lot about each other, and you will have so much fun. The party was great. We rang in the New Year with martini glasses, sparkling apple cider, and kazoos. It was so much fun. Thank you to the Stewart's who put on such a great party!
Help, I'v fallen and can't get up!
The Sunday after Christmas Kevin had a little accident. In the morning before church he went over to Eric's for a minute. As he was walking back, he was walking up our driveway and sneezed and fell to the ground. His back went out. He couldn't move. So he layed on the sidewalk for 15-20 minutes he said. I had no idea he was even out there. I was putting Taylor in the bath tub when I heard a cry for help coming from the front door. I ran to see what he needed. And there Kevin was crawling in the front door almost in teas. I asked what was wrong and he was in so much pain he couldn't talk. I asked, "Are you having a heart-attack", "No," he said. "Did you slip and hurt your knee?" "No," he said. So then he said that he sneezed and his back when out. So he layed there on the floor of our front entry way. Right then Eric called and I told him that Kevin was in a lot of pain. So he said that they had a heating thing you put in the microwave and Brandi had some Loratabs. So I went over there and told Brandi what had happened. Luckily her mom was there and knows a lot about the body. So Brandi gave me the medication and we all went back to our house. Brandi's mom thought that he slipped a disc in his back. She had him do some stretches to see if that would help, but he could barely move. So we tried to sit him up to take him to bed, but that was impossible. So Brandi's dad and brother-in-law grabbed Kevin by his hands and drug him into the front room, so that the could at least watch TV. Kevin layed there on the floor until 11 o'clock at night. He didn't move. He spent a lot of time on the computer and watching TV. Then Eric and my dad made a stretcher out of crutches and a blanket, put Kevin on it and carried him into our bed. That even killed him. Luckily the next morning a chiropractor had an opening so we got him into the car. The chiropractor took an x-ray and said that the cushion that is in between his spine bones was smaller than it is supposed to be and so his spine bones are rubbing together. So then he cracked his back. I have never heard anything like that. And Kevin had never felt anything like that, but it relieved a lot of pressure, so that is good. So Kevin has been taking it easy, well as much as Kevin will. He hates to sit still. He is on a lot of pain medication right now and I guess it will just take time for it to heal. I am guessing a couple of weeks. I hope for his sake that it is sooner!
Christmas!
Christmast was so much fun. We decided to have our Christmas over at Eric's house with my whole family. Taylor was pretty tired at first, but when she saw her new kitchen she was pretty excited. We watched Tess and Taylor open their presents for and hour or so. They wanted to play with their toy as they opened it. It is so much fun to see how excited kids are for Christmas and their new toys. Once we opened Taylor's pots, pans, bowls, and food, we didn't see her for the next couple of hours. She played and played and played with all her new toys. She would stir some food and then put it in the oven and do it over and over. She loved it!! Christmas was the best being all together. I loved it. Here are some pitures of Taylor on Christmas with her new kitchen. And a picture of her and Tess playing with the kitchen.
Boy or Girl?
On December 21st we went to the Doctors to have an ultra-sound to find out whether we are having a boy or a girl. During the ultra-sound the Doctor checked and measured everything and the baby looks great. When we got to the end of the ultra-sound he looked to see the sex of the baby, and the baby didn't want to show off. The baby was in a breach position and it is sitting in an indian style postition, so its feet and legs were covering everything. The Doctor wouldn't let us go until he found out what the baby was. So he pushed on my tummy several times, and looked at many different angles but the baby wouldn't budge. From what the Doctor could see it might be a girl. He couldn't tell for sure, but he thinks that it is maybe a girl. But since he couldn't really tell I get to have another ultra-sound at my next appointment to see really what it is. I am feeling like it is a girl, but we will have to wait and see! Here is a cool picture of her fore-arm and fist.
